jointpop is an alternative rock band formed in 1996 in the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago.

The current lineup of the band includes:

  • Dion Camacho (Drums)
  • Phil Hill (Keyboards)
  • Jerome Girdharrie (Bass)

Outside of gigs in their native Trinidad and Tobago, jointpop has toured the UK  and the USA playing to crowds in London,  Birmingham, Walsall, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Falkirk, New York City and Miami. They have opened for Dolores O’Riordan ( The Cranberries), Blue Oyster Cult, Kansas and Shaggy.

Influences include The Clash, The Velvet Underground, Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Bob Marley, The Mighty Sparrow, U2, The Beatles, Sex Pistols, Bob Dylan
